Rhonda Cordonierre

Influenced by my teachers, peers, environment and my personal need for the many health benefits yoga offers, I aim to bring a unique sense of empowerment to each of my classes. Through intention, meditation, pranayama and asana, my goal is to have students leave each class felling refreshed and renewed.

I guide participants in a way that provokes thought and meaning, letting the student experience the sense of going within to connect with their mind, body and spirit. My classes are always challenging physically and mentally, delivered in English with very descriptive queues and alignment focused. I infuse the classroom with uplifting music, include minimal demonstrations and am very skilled with hands on assists to help students become more mindful of their bodies and encourage a deepening of their practice. I aim to live a yogic lifestyle and lead my classes in a way that reflects that choice.

In addition to Yoga Instructor, I am licensed as a Medical Massage Therapist and have a successful business I established in 2004 for clients in Colorado Springs. I partner with many physicians, chiropractors, rolfers, physical therapists and acupuncturists to offer my clients a variety of therapeutic methods as a certified Neuromuscular Trigger Point and Myofascial Release therapist.

My in-depth training of physiology, kinesiology and my advanced knowledge of anatomy are the greatest assets I bring into my practice and use to guide others through their practice of yoga and meditation.
